Apple Chai Honey-Caramel Topping

Lollygag 4-5 Apples- Peeled, cored and chopped into small pieces. (Granny Smith or Gala preferred) 1/4 C. Salted Butter 1/4 C. Sugar 1/4 C. Fresh Honey 1/2 Tsp. Chai Masala Powder 1/2 Lemon- juiced plus zest Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat and add the sugar, honey, and lemon juice and cook, stirring constantly for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture turns a light golden brown. Next, add the apple wedges and Chai Masala and continue to cook stirring often for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are tender and look caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. - Serve on top of your ice cream, cakes, or try it with our Scandinavian Waffle Rosettes. - Best served slightly warm - you can reheat topping in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds or until desired temp. - Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.Apple Chai Honey-Caramel Topping
