El Mariachi Margarita

This refreshing cocktail with a twist has a fiery heat that is sure to leave a pep in your step and a smile on your face.
Rated 3.0 stars by 1 users Last Call cocktails and drinks 2-4 (depending on glass) 1-2 hour 5 minutes 1/2 Ripe mango- Peeled and pit removed 6 Oz. Quality Tequila Silver 4 Limes-Squeezed 1/2 C. Orange juice 1 oz. Turmeric Liquor-Optional or a dash of Turmeric. 1 Oz. Cointreau 1/2 Tsp. Agave syrup 2 Tsp. Chili Tincture-see directions below 1/4 C. Chili Lime Salt (Trader Joes) for the glass rim 1 Lime- Cut into thin round slices with a cut for placing on your glasses 1 Serrano Chili-Cleaned and de-seeded and roughly chopped 1/2 C. sugar 1/2 C. water Prepare your chili tincture 1-2 hours ahead of time or 24 hrs. Combine all drink ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Chill until use. Use lime wedge to moisten the rim of your rocks glasses then immediately dip rims into the chili lime salt to coat. Add 1-2 ice cubes to rocks tumbler glasses then pour margarita over and garnish with a lime slice. Heat sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, simmering for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Slice and add or muddle your chili and simple syrup together. Let it marinate for at least 24 hours for best flavor or at least 1-2 hours. Store tincture in refrigerator in a mason jar or air tight container for 1-2 weeks. Strain and discard the chili bits before use.El Mariachi Margarita
