What Is Borosilicate? & Why we love it
Borosilicate is a type of glass that contains silica & boron trioxide, which a more durable,
non toxic material that won't crack under extreme temperatures - even when using in the microwave.
Borosilicate glass is much stronger than regular glass and if it does break, it tends to crack into larger pieces rather than shattering, making it safer and easier to clean up.
