Use Mild Soap Only if Necessary
For sticky residue, use a tiny drop of mild dish soap on the cloth, but ensure you wipe it off immediately with a clean, damp cloth.
Beeswax or Oil regularly
About once a month—or anytime the wood looks dry—apply Beeswax Paste or a food-grade mineral oil. This helps restore moisture, prevents cracking, and brings the wood back to life.
Cleaning the Internal Mechanism
Use a small, soft brush (like a pastry brush or toothbrush) to sweep away leftover peppercorn dust or salt crystals from the grinding mechanism.
