Dishwasher safe
Whiskey Cherry Old Fashioned Cocktail (Elevated)/
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1 barspoon cherry syrup (from high-quality cocktail cherries)
- 2–3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Luxardo cherry (or similar)
- 1 wide strip of orange peel
- Ice (large cube preferred)
Instructions:
- Add whiskey, cherry syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir for ~20–25 seconds until properly chilled and slightly diluted.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Express the orange peel over the drink (twist it to release oils), then drop it in.
- Garnish with the cherry.
