This quick & easy chocolate sauce recipe is the perfect decadent add to any desserts, cakes, or ice creams-great for the kiddos or pop it with an extra zing by adding Chai Masala for a bit of spicy fun!

Ingredients
2 C. Granulated sugar
1 C. Hershey’s Cocoa Powder
1 C. Water
1.5 Tsp.Pure Vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Directions
Whisk the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt together in a medium saucepan.
Next, over medium heat, add the water and combine well.
Bring to a boil , then reduce to a low simmer for about 2-5 minutes.
Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Let cool for about 10 -15 minutes before serving to thicken, or transfer to a mason jar for storage until use.
Recipe Note
• This sauce should store well for a few days in an airtight container on the counter, or store in the refrigerator for longer life- about 1 week.
• Serve at room temperature or warmed slightly in the microwave for 30 seconds.
• Add 1 Tsp. Chai Masala powder to the first step or try flavored extracts such as orange instead of the vanilla extract for an added punch!
