Directions
Make your Green Goddess tahini sauce and set aside.
Boil eggs: I like mine slightly soft - about 9 to 10 minutes
but you can boil to your liking. See The perfect hard boiled eggs recipe.
Slice and lightly toast your bread- I like a good rustic bread, but really you can use any bread you prefer.
Make your avocado mash: Remove pit and skin of avocado and gently mash it in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
Assembly
Place toasted bread on a serving plate.
Add a generous spoonful, or more if you wish of Tahini sauce on top of the bread.
Generously layer the avocado mash on top of the sauce.
Peel & slice your hard boiled eggs then arrange them on top of avocado mash. You can either use 1 egg per person or less depending on the size of bread and how hungry you are.
Next, sprinkle green or pink Za’atar (Green is more savory because of the dill and the pink is a tad sweeter due to the Sumac.)
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the toasts and top with chopped fresh Dill.
Optional- Drizzle with chili pepper oil for a bit of spice, serve and enjoy!
Recipe Note
You can make the Green Goddess Dressing ahead of time, just add less water for a thicker consistency and store in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks. This is great for salads, roasted vegetables and more!
