Directions
Bring enough water to cover your eggs to a boil, then add a dash of distilled vinegar and lower heat to a simmer.
Add your room temperature eggs gently to the simmering water with a large slotted spoon.
Boil for as many minutes to achieve the consistency you desire...
7-8 Min - for soft boiled.
9-10 Min - for firm but slightly gooey.
11-12 Min - for hard boiled.
Remove from heat.
Gently pour cold water into pan until water is fairly cooled, the gently crack each egg on all sides and place back in the pot for about 5 minutes.
Under running water, gently peel the eggs, and place on a paper towel to dry and discard your shell.
Serve as desired or use for recipes such as deviled eggs.
