Ingredients

5 oz. Kentucky Whiskey

1 Fresh Lemon -juiced

4- Fresh Black Cherries -muddled

1 oz. Campari
-
1 1/2 Tbsp. Pure Maple Syrup

4 Dashes of Orange bitters

2 oz. Seltzer
Garnishes
-
2 Black cherries for Garnish (caramelized optional)

2 Lemon or orange peel twists
Directions
Muddle 4 of your cherries in a shaker to release their juices.
Then add remaining ingredients except the garnishes to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a double rocks glass over ice. and top the glass off with seltzer.
Garnish with a black cherry that has been caramelized (see notes) and a lemon or orange peel twist.
Recipe Note
* To caramelize your cherries simply dip the bottom in granulated sugar and use a kitchen torch to melt the sugar and brown them slightly.
