Hansel
Muddle your fresh mint and blackberries in the bottom of a shaker until good and broken up.
Add your gin, lemon juice, Limoncello, cinnamon simple syrup, and blackberry liquor.
Add ice and give it a good shake.
Pour into a rocks glass with ice and top with Ginger Beer.
Garnish with a whole blackberry and fresh mint leaves on a small cocktail skewer or toothpick.
Gretel
Combine Rum, lemon juice, cinnamon simple syrup, passion fruit syrup, and apple juice to a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a coupe glass or martini glass.
Top with a splash of Ginger Beer.
Garnish with grated cinnamon and a decorative lemon peel or twig of thyme or rosemary pinned to the side of your glass.
Honey Cinnamon Syrup
Place water, honey, and cinnamon stick in a small sauce pan over medium heat.
Bring to a simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
Once cooled, pour into an air tight container or mason jar and store in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Recipe Note
For added drama- add a tiny piece of dry ice to each glass when serving, but make sure it has dissolved before drinking it and never touch the dry ice directly with you hands as it will burn you-ouch!
*Honey Cinnamon Syrup can be prepared the day before and is excellent for other cocktails such as our Bee's Knees or for adding a pop to your tea!
