Ingredients
Drink:

6 oz. quality Bourbon

2 Peaches-Ripe and grilled-see instructions below

1 oz. of Fresh squeezed orange juice

1 oz. of Fresh Myer Lemon juice

1 oz. Ginger Simple Syrup
Brûléed Peach Garnish:
-
1/2 Tsp. sugar
-
2 Peach slices
-
Chef’s hand torch
-
Cocktail Toothpicks
-
2 Fresh Mint springs
Directions
Split your peach in half and brush with oil. Grill both halves flesh side down for 3 minutes.
Flip peaches to other side until nice a browned.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Remove flesh of peaches and place in a shaker with simple syrup and muddle until macerated.
Add ice and remaining ingredients to shaker and give it a good shake.
Pour drink through a fine mesh sieve , pushing as much peach through into a rocks glass.
Add 1-2 ice cubes to each glass and garnish with brûléed peach slices and fresh mint.
Notes
Brûléed Peach Garnish
Place peach slices on a metal surface or pan.
Sprinkle with sugar and torch with chef’s kitchen hand torch until sugar begins to caramelize and brown.
Let cool.
Place peach slice on a garnish toothpick or float directly in the glass for garnish.
