The Bordallo Pinheiro Factory of Artistic Earthenware was founded in 1884 in Caldas da Rainha in Portugal, by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro a Portuguese artist and caricaturist.
The Bordallo Pinheiro Rua Nova collection is rustic yet modern dinnerware collection was inspired by the beautiful Renaissance tiles found on many Portuguese streets still today.
The collection combines tradition and modernity with a variety of utilitarian pieces and table accessories.
