Rated 5.0 stars by 1 users Desserts/Party Treats lil eats 6 2 hours 5 minutes 20 minutes This layered s'mores dessert parfait can be made on fly or fully from scratch, it’s up to you & there's a hidden surprise in each layer of the parfait to make it extra decadent and simply scrumptious...perfect for a wintery treat or any time dessert! Lollygag 1.5-2 Cups of Belgian Chocolate Pudding 12 Mini Hershey’s chocolate bars- leave 7 mini bars whole for garnish 1 bag of mini marshmallows ½ C. HEATH Milk Chocolate English Toffee Baking Bits (optional) 9 Whole graham crackers-broken up 1/4 C. brown sugar 1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon 6 Tbsp. Butter-Melted ahead of time 2 Cups of heavy whipping cream 4 Tbsp. of confectioner’s sugar 1 Tsp. Pure Vanilla extract Six 8 oz. mason jars( or deep serving dishes of choice-glass allows you to see the layers though) Culinary torch Fine cheese grater Prepare your pudding and chill until assembly time. Place your whipped cream in a bowl, cover and chill until use. Prep your chocolate bits by chopping up 5-6 chocolate bars into little pieces- reserving 6 whole mini bars for each parfait jar and 1 for chocolate shavings, then set aside until assembly. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Next prepare your graham cracker crumble. In a food processor- Pulse until graham crackers are the texture of coarse sand. Spoon the graham crackers into a medium mixing bowl. Then add your brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Next, stir in your melted butter and mix thoroughly. Then spread your crumble mixture evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and press it down with your fingers patting it into a firm crust. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, until nice and golden brown. Remove crumble from oven and let cool. (If you are in a hurry you can place tray in freezer for 5 minutes or so.) Line up your mason jars on the counter. Remove your crumble and break it up into little pieces into a bowl and create an assembly line with the rest of your ingredients-whipped cream, pudding, chocolate bits, and marshmallows. Start layering- about 1/2-3/4" layers of each: -Graham cracker crumble -Pudding -Chocolate bits -Heath Bar bits -Whipped cream Repeat until you are about 1/2" from the top-ideally ending in pudding or whipped cream and allowing enough room for a layer of mini marshmallows on top. The last layer of mini marshmallows should be sticking up above the top of the mason jar at this point so make sure to adjust layers accordingly. Using a small culinary torch- toast the tops of your marshmallows to give the s’more effect. Then place a mini Hershey’s bar dipped into marshmallow topping and sticking up. Using a cheese grater, shave a bit of chocolate on top and serve with a dessert spoon. • You can chill your parfaits ahead of serving time by placing plastic wrap over tops of jars carefully and placing in refrigerator until use. • If you’re in a hurry you can cut your time down to a quarter of the time by using store bought chocolate pudding (a thick one is preferred) or box pudding and use whipped cream from a can. * However, if you have time, making it fresh from scratch is totally worth the wait!
